Allan, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is still a kickass tune! Don't care what they say!! You know, I only recently (past few years) found out it got the name from the singer's (Ingle?) being so drunk on a Gallon of cheap wine that he garbled the words he had written for it, and the band later quoted it back to him like that. Never even thought he was trying to sing "In the Garden of Eden"! Side one is cool too. |

I agree - excellent album all round. "Ball", which followed it too has some brilliant moments as did Heavy, which preceded IGDV.
Currently listening to a 2005 Manfred Mann's Earth Band show - all the classics like Carol, Blinded and Demo Man. Oh, and of course Mighty Quinn ;-) |
