How nice to see another The Hook fan, Bobinbed!! They were dynamic, with Buddy Sklar on bass and Russ Kunkel on drums...those were the days at the Whiskey, but I won't go into all thatSuffice it to say, Buddy was the bomb.

Isn't he now going by the name Leland Sklar? It's hard to tell if that's him under the long beard, but I think it is Still such a hippie!

steve64: that is a good cd"The Other Side",by Chris Hillman! he does 8 miles high again. bluegrass style. actually, i enjoy his other stuff more with the great pedal steelist, Jay Dee Maness, on the fantastic , "Bakersfield Bound", with Herb Pederson.

i'm listening to The Greenhornes. the cd:" Dual Mono", also has some vocals by Holly Golightly. very cool stuff here, garage-psych- blues-rock. the goooooooood stuff!

yeah it is a great cd 'the Other Side' amazing how much talent came out of The Byrds? so many members of that band went on and did great solo stuff
