| well, the music on the Rising Sons cd is blues-based rock , with slide guitar/organic sounding real stuff spanning the vibes of the san francisco summer of love, to the Mersy-Beat Liverpool sound, and all wraped up in a warm blanket of Delta-Mississippi Blues baked home -down very good musicianship, soul, and electric hippy freak-blues. it's a classic wonder all the way . it FEELS good! it's magic. |

Thanks for the info on the Sons - will have to look a buying it as time allows. That is the only problem with boards like this - everyone is so helpful at suggesting new bands, the bank balance can't keep up!!  |

| Also... a "best of" Minnie Riperton cd--thanks to jazmaan for mentioning her in his 'trivia question' thread, I had never heard of her. Her voice is like silk, and the lyrics are pretty psychedelic. |
