I too have never been one of Dylan's devotees, but offerings such as "Blonde" and "Highway 61" are indespensible recordings for ANY classic rock afficianado.I keep going bnack to these as well as his first greatest hits collection.Always fresh with an omnipotable folk flair. |

Tell you what. Not only is it an infinite undeserved fate the the songs couldn't stay at least somewhere in the Beatles' family,it lends even more credence to what I feel is in the first place an overrated existence in the anals of pop.Surely, strong r&b tracks such as "Billie Jean" as well as many other greats Jacksonn did on his own and with his brothers have provided overwhleming evidence of legitimate Hall of Fame induction, but I feel as though his strongest distinction lies more in the realm of his performance art. There are at least three things I'll never fully comprehend. The first two are how Jackson managed to sell a staggering 750 million albums and 1oo million of "Thriler" alone. The third is...how the hell did Garth Brooks get to be the second biggest selling album artist in US history, behind only the Beatles? |

I have to agree, Underture - in their field they were absolute world beaters. I remember very vividly when they burst on the UK scene in 1965 with that very song. All these years later, their music somehow continues to radiate sunshine and happiness. My own particular favourite is Georgy Girl:
