well, being a man of habits...and I have my share... The Notorious Byrd Brothers. Have we discussed this album here at all? Love the segway from Natural Harmony..to Draft Morning! A feat of artistic track editing. In the topical current 4th of July here , the Draft Morning sounds of War(HUH! What is it good for!?) a good choice for starts today. I'm playing a decent Vinyl stereo lp. sounds better than the CD, even with the warble of my TT. need to get a new TT at a garage sale soon!

So true, bob, about the TT vs. CD player sound. I have a mono Along Comes the Association (a psych folk rock gem) on vinyl and Just the Right Sound/Association on CD. The CD mix sounds like it is coming from a toy record player while the mono vinyl on my TT BOOMS and rocks with all the highs and lows of the audio range...beautiful. I have to crank the bass and treble in the car to get it half way close to the vinyl quality. (By the way did you all know that Buick or Olds or one of those makes actually introduced a vinyl record player IN-CAR! As you can guess, it never took off...a tendency to SKIP!!)
And yes...we have talked about Notorious and we LOVE IT! Nice tracks you mentioned there.

thats hilarious, LK! (car TT). Isn't that what Fred Flintstone had!? or imagine a van parked(if this van's a'rockin', don't be ' a' knockin'), and rockin' side to side, and ...skip-skip-

The Mojo Men. their rendition of, " Sit down, i think i love you" isn't the only thing they did. singer, Jan Errico and band's LP and singles collection on the Sundazed label is great! i love this band's good vibes and talent, and Jan Errico's voice.

How about the Mandrake Memorial's cover of "Something In The Air". A great version with a totally psychedelic flavor to it...the second half going into a guitar heaven riff, and then an anthemic ending.

Gotta love it when John starts with that first word..."Motherrrr".

This is so good and so British...."standing on a golf course in a PVC... I chanced upon a golf girl, selling cups of tea..."
"GOLF GIRL" by Caravan from In The Land Of Grey & Pink http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lST4QCeQsCc
Such fun British pop psych! And a favorite line from Caravan--"If I could do it all over again, I'd do it all over you."

Take Me Back In Time - Jackie Green. This really reminds me of the days in San Francisco when we were all in colors and happy and the sky was blue. :)
