Plant does a whole hour+ solo performance, with an Ian Hunter guest number. Plant does many Love tumes, such as "Old Man", Johnny Echols steps in for a couple songs and Robert also does several great renditions of Zep tunes...that seem to have a "love" theme to them. That filmed segment-- I have on DVD. But so far I only have the audio of Baby Lem doing MOST of FC--a superb performance. If it is out there as a DVD video boot, we have yet to find it!
Is there one out there, Torben? I would love to see Michael drumming and not just on youtube, but the full segment Baby Lem.
My local record store keeps getting a "delayed" notice for the Live Grape!

It is wonderful...start to finish, allan. And of course, the title with "grey" spelled in proper English. Ever since I read Tolkien--the Grey Havens and all...I've never spelled it "gray". That is just so wrong!
"It is a long winter....." Glad for Spring.
I'm listening to the brilliant first record of "Wheels Of Fire". Very very nice.

I got Buttons...my buddy got Flowers. I ended up with both. I got Sympathy for the Devil in vinyl and CD. Went to the Rolling Stones LA concert in very late November, 1968. Bought scalped tickets $25 from a groovy friend there, Jeff, for my wife and I. Second show...started at midnight with the Ike and Tina Revue. The Stones came on at 2 AM or so...let's just say it was like the stoniest event I had before or since attended. That includes Altamont. |

Hey allan...that Neil album is so great. I love his first LP, but he really found his own signature sound with that one..... "down by the river, I shot my baby...."
