Do you know "Driving Wheel" by the great Tom Rush? The main reason I'd always loved that song was " I Feel Like An Old Indian, I Lost My Drivin' Wheel". First of all it's a great sentence, second reason was my love and feelings towards the native Americans. It took me years to find out Tom was singing about "An Old Engine"...
Still love the song, but the lyrics could've been better
i was once having a good old boogie with my friend to primal screams swastika eyes until i heard my friend singing along..."smoke in ya eyes" I have to leave the dancefloor to stop myself from peeing with laughter
i'm getting on slowly but surely. as a clue though the one that covers the ballad of me and tina has got as far as 1972, so maybe not time to hols yer breath yet...
and arthur does sing: "and you will do..." at least in 2004 notts and bilston he does
