Well, hardly anyone turned up to see them in Leeds, but the people who did will be forever grateful. I'm still pinching myself. Never thought, in my wildest dreams, that I'd ever see Big Brother live. I was on another planet.
Just got a recording of the show today if you are interested. You didn't take any pics by chance so I can knock up some artwork.
Hi there,
I am definitely interested in this recording!
email is cal_jam74@yahoo.co.uk
Didn't take any pics I'm afraid! :( |

I'm off to see Juicy Lucy on the 23rd and Terry Reid on the 24th of Sept, both in London.
What a weekend that will be. Just myself, two nights, two bands, once city. Can't wait. Going to gigs by yourself is actually quite fun! |

Yeh you're right, when i saw Love last year i travelled to the gig on my own. None of my mates had heard of Love so weren't interested. But i actually found it so much more relaxing and special being on my own as it can be uncomfortable if you take someone to a gig and they don't know anything about the band. You spend the whole time worrying if the person with you is enjoying the gig and i find if you can tell they havent enjoyed it it can ruin the whole thing.
This is the time and this is the time and it is time, time, time, time, time, time, time.....

I saw the Yardbirds last week, great music, (brought back lots of memories), and a very polished performance. Ben King on lead guitar, brilliant, and only 21. |

Also saw Ryan Adams & The Cardinals last night, I was a little disappointed, too many full on "rock songs" for my liking. Though it was good to see Ryan letting rip on guitar for a change. |

I just got back from seeing lord bishop, for those of you in the north familiar with trillions bar then thats where he was..i didn't think my love beads would go down well in there but I think I got away with it. So Lord bishop, a very cool guy who did an amazing version of purple haze and voodoo chile, his own songs were pretty good too, so impressed was I , I bought a cd def broke the mould when they made that guy, he was crazy |

I know Trillions very well. Might be there on Thursday to see the mighty Budgie!
This weekend, I saw Jucy Lucy and Terry Reid in London. Both great gigs. Terry Reid was different class though. |

On 9-1-06 I saw Rob Grill and the Grass Roots. They played at an Indian casino in Trinidad, a beach community north of Eureka, CA. The show was sold out and they were amazingly good. We had a great time dancing to the oldies. The band was staying at our hotel and I saw Rob in the lounge before the show. I told him about Arthur. He was very sorry to hear of his passing and was singing Love songs in the parking lot. I would definitely go to see them again. |

I saw Built to Spill play last week. They are a great band. I was wearing a Love t shirt, and received compliments from several members of the band after the show. Two of the members even said Love/Arthur were a pretty big influence.

Saw Paul Rodgers last night. The Free and Bad Company songs still sound great, and his voice was magic. Fantastic night.
Could have played a little longer though... |

Roger Mcguinn...about an hour ago, he did a stonking version of eight miles high...just him and his 2 guitars, simple but powerful. Had to chuckle when he came out in a newcastle united football top with MCGUINN on the back haha loved the little stories he told in between songs too |
