You know "hit home" is an understatemnt for me and I want to share this. Ever since I was a kid I had the use of only one eye so naturally my other eye compensated. As I got older my good eye started to lose vision about 2 years ago.I went to my regular eye doctor who gave me a diagnosis but I didn't get the impression he thought it was "serious". He said monitor it. Well I monitored it alright but the eye had its own mind and my vision quickly started to deteriorate. I was shocked at the rapidity of the loss in vision. I just thought the MD should have been a little more proactive in this since I did have only one eye. So the I said the hell w that and right, I go to Manhattan too looking for the best and the brightest. I got a retina specialist like yourself who was on top of my problem. Lucky me..Moral?...don't play around with the blinkers and be proactive in getting taken care of kids. I know the eyes are the windows to the soul but they also let me do things I love.
Whenever I take things for granted, all I have to do is cover my good eye, and I'm down on my knees thinkin take care of that good eye. A little scary, AS LK has noted this is a site that covers a little more than LOVE.
Does anybody here have an acquaitance, friend or significant other who is a fan, has listened to or is at least acquainted with LoVE?
My wife kinda knows about the band and has seen some of Love Story and asked a few questions, but otherwise has no interest. I don't know any physical person who knows about the band; usually I get blank stares if I happen to bring them up. It sucks that I live in a vacuum but the positives are the good folks here at the forum who fill the void. Anyway was just curious if there was any interpersonal relations of LoVE fans.
