Ok, so this is the kind of list that will change on an almost daily basis for me but at this point in time it goes something like this;

1. Happy Together: The Turtles
2. Wuthering Heights: Kate Bush
3. Great Hosannah: Kula Shaker
4. Itchycoo Park: Small Faces
5. Saucy Sailor: Steeleye Span (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxXhA88ru0A)

But I feel a little uncomfortable posting this as I know in a few minutes from now I'll be kicking myself for omitting a whole host of other momentous tunes!

This is the time and this is the time and it is time, time, time, time, time, time, time.....

A great, great song, LK...and also one of my all time favourites. I wonder just how few songwriters can also genuinely lay claim to actually being a poet. Dylan, Cohen and Paul Simon certainly....but for me, Gene would definitely be in there as well.
