Their songs are so unique with irony, sarcasm, melodrama and a whole lot of other stuff stuck in there. Morrissey...always lookin' for the truth!!
And it's amazing to see the difference between Love and Smiths songs. i know they're coming at things from a different perspective Both Morrissey's and Arthur's personality come through in their music but how they handle rage and react to the crazy things in life is soooo different in their lyrics and music. Morrissey is like "in yer face" but to me Love was just a little less laid back. I guess California could do that... Manchester's rain can wear the hell out of you.

is "Every day is like Sunday" the Smiths?

Robyn Hitchcock does a GREAT cover of that; I have it on Unhatched Criblings or something

good pick joe!!!...what a song by Mr. M!!....and the cover? I' kind of lean to Chrissie H's (Pretenders) version...love that guitar work...is that a steel I hear????
