I would have to say for me personally it would be Five String Serenade. Some people may not count it, but for me I have the hardest time listening to it. It just seems like Arthur singing over some late 1980's digital recording equipment.
I have been learning to like False Start a bit more.

I agree with you on that one Thomas. it's dreadful....The irony is that it spawned Five String Serenade which I (assume) has earned Arthur more dollars than all of his other songs combined.
Cheers

I heard Arthur made some cash from that one too.
Now, was that because someone covered a song from that record ?

Don't like the album but do love the track-5 string serenade. It's very different to other AL stuff, but captivating nevertheless. Must be the voice! |

Not real sure of this, but I believe it was Mazzy Star's fine cover of '5-string' that did the trick. |

In need of a terrible album from 1981 (the year I was born). |

Terrible album from 1981 - How about Bucks Fizz debut album called....."Bucks Fizz"? although does include the Eurovision Song Winner "Making your Mind up" which is pop genius
Sorry Thomas, you may not be aware of that one but our UK poster's will!!!! |

I liked "Mr. Lee" from the Rhino lp! Don't remember anything else from that album though. |

I understand there are some tracks from More Changes on the record. I wonder if he re-did them or if they are the exact same tracks that were supposed to appear on the unreleased 1977 album from E.X. Pression.

I like my rhino album, not just Mr Lee
I like all of them at different times - so I just play the one that seems right for the moment. No disappointment.
just appreciate them for their good points (like we appreciate the good shows)
oh bugger! I wasn't going to post any more since testosterone wars kicked in.

There is no bad Love album and although some are obviously 'better' than others I don't think there's much merit in rating them in order of preference. All I would like to say is that if Revelation had been dropped from Da Capo in favour of songs more in line with the others on Side One (eg more of Bryan's songs) then FC would have had a serious rival for Number One album. I do like Revelation but imho it was a cop-out to fill a complete side with a glorified jamming session.
That EX Pression unreleased album (I believe entitled More Changes) has the only studio tracks I think I've still to hear..... Thailand, Thirty Going Home. Can anyone shed any light on these two tracks please ?

It has to be Out Here if only because it was such a real disappointment at the time (even though some of Four Sail had been a pretty good indication that it was going to be downhill from then on). |
