AloneAgain, I first heard of Peter Green while living in the Haight in '67; is he still around?
Bare Trees was a pretty good FM album. |

Peter Green is still around. He released a few solo albums and had a band called The Peter Green Splinter Group which broke up a couple of years ago.
He disappeared from the music scene almost like Syd Barrett at one point. He suffered mental illness and was institionalised during the 1970s.
But he recovered, and his mates coaxed and encouraged him back into the music scene.
He's not as sharp as he used to be, and talks a little slower. But I tell you what, the boy can still play. |

I'm afraid he never really recovered. He is a shadow of his former self, but at least he's still with us and able to do something. |

re. Peter Green, i was lucky enough to see him play some gigs 2 years ago, when a freind was managing him for a while. He played support to John Mayals Band. Still a wizard on guitar, a bit sketchy in speech and dealing with people though, last i heard he was in Sweden. Any news, i,ll keep you informed. LOVE Allan |

Blues Project...right now the Reunion 1973 Live in Central Park. I was fortunate to see them on this tour when they came to Philly. They performed at a great venue here called The Dell...an open theatre in the park.
Remarkable musicians
