We're being inexorably pushed into purchasing across the ether. Like you, I prefer to see what I'm buying, browse sleeve notes, pick up a vibe before parting with my cash. My favourite store here is having its closing down sale too. It's sad.

The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe - TV Soundtrack
When I found out that ths was now available I'm not afraid to confess that I both whooped and shed a tear. For many who grew up in the '60's and early 70's this series was something special, that struck a chord, and I know from the customer reviews on Amazon that I'm by no means alone in feeling misty eyed on being reaquainted with something from the past that had been thought lost forever. This is hugely emotive music, surpassing Morricone, and it has retained its spell despite being now forty three years old. Perhaps someone else who reads this will whoop and shed a tear too. Pass it on.

If one might have an interest in Terry Reid, click the link, click on Concerts above, and find his concert on Wolfgang's Vault. Amazing vocals

Go to Wolfgang's Vault (link above) and check out Mountain-1970. Listen to Felix sing Nantucket Sleighride...such a beautiful voice. I was fortunate to see Mountain back in the day. RIP Felix

Mountain's first album 'Montain Climbing' was one of THE records that awakened my love of rock music, in particular the track 'Theme For An Imaginary Western', which I have a soft spot for even now. Kid Jensen used to play them late at night on Radio Luxembourg, and I used to listen with a transistor radio under the bedclothes, so my folks wouldn't hear.. memories. I saw them at the Rainbow Theatre in '71, at the NME awards gig, when they were best international act. A great night. Yup. RIP, Felix.

Mike P and rocker

I've listened to both Mountain concerts on Wolfgang's several times now. I was actually listening to "Theme for an Imaginary Western" when I was reading your post, Mike P. It's gonna be 'another one of those' that I'll be stuck on for another week. I've always been O.C.

I'm kinda lucky in that I work from my house...except when I have to go to customer sites. So I listen to tunes all day long.
