Finally managed to check out a band I'd been meaning to for more than a score of years--The Peanut Butter Conspiracy/The Great Conspiracy. What took me so long?! It was pretty cool. Actually got it as a spankin' new reissue on vinyl (in sweet mono oh dontcha know) for the mere pittance of $ten-fitty.

Has anyone heard the new live Paul Weller disc? When I was in L A for the Arthur benefit I went to Amoeba Records in Hollywood. When I was cruising the bins the sound system played the latest Eels release and I had to have it!

"Flowers"(1967), Rolling Stones! ever notice the cover art?
all the members are superimposed over plants, and Brian Jones is the only one without leaves! this collection is my favorite because of the songs.they are all tops, no filler, all the best.
Albums like this are a lost art. some tracks:
Ruby Tuesday
Have you seen your mother, baby, standing in the shadows
let's spend the night together
lady jane
backstreet girl
mother's little helper......
