Paul Weller .."Days of Speed" , i,ve never been into Weller much, but on this album, wich is all accoustic and LIVE he does some old Jam +Style Council tracks along with his solo stuff...Really Good. |

Last night (w/ my crazed jammin' buddy): Sun Dial- Zen for Sale Seventh Seal- s/t (unreleased lp from 60's garage band from Virginia) Gary Numan- Replicas Homer & Jethro- Fractured Folk Songs + some 7" 45 by an old band never heard of called "Tremeloes" (pretty cool) think the title was Call Me Number One. |

And oh yeah, I asked my pal to play Dead Hippie (bob f's band), but he said he traded it to one of our other friends years ago. That's ok, it ain't far away. |

astro- wow! well, anyway, although i'm mentioned in the thanx section on the back cover, i didn't play on that lp. i drummed one show concert , and a live percussion live on-air performance with singer Simon Smallwood, and Hamid Camp, bass( son of Hamilton Camp, r.i.p.), at kxlu radio station in L.A. for " spoken word" show. you shocked me with your tight memory of things! thank you. |

I'm listening to 'Bang Bang' and his S/T LP with Superlungs on it. He has such a great voice.
I saw him in '70. He appeared wearing that long tan leather coat as seen on the 'Bang Bang' LP.
I belive Mr Reid turned down an opportunity to be Led Zep's vocalist. It may have been the New Yardbirds at the time.
