And the use of the ancient drum, in norwegian "Pauke" dont know the english word for it. Just love the sound of that, shame its so rarely used in rock music. |

I used to love the Pogues though I sort of lost touch after Shane MacGowan left the band way back in the 90s. I believe he subsequently rejoined and now is apparently recording again. He's a wheelchair user follwing a bad accident in 2015 when he broke his pelvis and seems to have put on a bit of weight (but haven't we all?)
Anyway, this is one of my favourite Pogues songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TejJDFt6Tkk

Yes, DT. I also love the Pogues with McGowan. Good one indeed.

Isaac Guillory (former Cryan Shames bassist) who emigrated to the UK in 1970 for life. Became highly regarded as one of the best guitarist in the world...then and now. You lucky UK fans got to see Isaac in clubs for decades.
This is one of the all time best live videos I've personally ever seen!
Blues Is Just A Bad Dream/Swingin' Little Guitar Man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5Go8FQ5OF0
Isaac's buddy John Renbourn - Isaac wrote a tribute song to John ... Dear John https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICcapFkQaEM
Here are Isaac and John together...they played together a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vcD_2E3pis
