I saw the item just before logging in here. It is Michael's handwriting on the CD (I have a couple things that Michael signed for me). I'm thinking it's for real...the price is somewhat prohibitive IMHO.

Thanks Allan, I think I might agree with you: after going back to the page I saw the sellers feedback is 100% positive. Looks indeed to be real. Pitty about the money |

After Allan mentioning Michaels handwriting, I took another look at the item. To my surprise it says: To Stefaan From Michael, Drummer Of Love. Could be written for me "Stefaan" may be a somewhat common name over here, but I got the feeling the thing is there for me. But not for that sum of money. Gonna contact the seller |

Thanks Ed for letting me know! Won't need to contact the seller then Had a look at your other stuff. In 2002 I saw them for the very first time in Utrecht, just a day before the Amsterdam "Melkweg" gig. Was so impressed by the concert that I phoned my wife to ask if it was ok if I and our 2 daughters(who where with me, and also quite impressed)went to A'dam the next day. She didn't sounded a bit enthousiastic about it, so with a rather empty feeling inside I drove back to Belgium. Lucky there was the London RFH gig in January 2003 |

Hi Stefaan,
Well I missed you there in Utrecht!I only decided the next day that I would go to Amsterdam also.It was mind blowing!!
Anyway, I contacted the seller and she had no idea that the prize was too high. She paid too much herself also for it.But from her words she seems honest and had no intensions to rip somebody off.But it is the real thing for sure.Mabye you can contact her and make a deal? She has a signed by Arthur cd sleeve also. The two items would make a nice present, but you shouldn't pay more then $30 dollar for it.
Cheers, Ed http://www.thefreedomman.com |

Freedom Man is 100% correct. I bought an autogrpahed disk from Michael for $25 I think it was. I also bought the book after it came out. $300 is way too high. As was said before, try to negotiate a far lower price. |

Thanks again for the info Ed! I'll contact the person and see what comes out of it. I also have a signed cd sleeve by Arthur (remember Utrecht and how great it was to have a chat will all the guys, including the late Gene who told me there was no interrest for the band in Belgium), so I'm only interrested in the "Book".
Groetjes,
Stefaan |

Yes, I remember Utrecht. After the gig it was only a handfull of people and the Band and Arthur just strollin' around. One moment he went over to my wife and son(YES, I took my son there, mabye you saw him?) and had a little chat with them. Anyway, good luck with the seller from eBay!

I think it DID sell, but because he copies it over and over again it can be on Ebay 'till Leonard Peltier's grandson is voted into the White House. I contacted the guy, he was all but friendly, but admitted the quality was poor. So I lost my interrest in this one.
