I had not heard this cover version before. It was played on the BBC London Shake Some Action show this weekend. Very impressive version, Dorris has a superb soulful voice. The show is up for one week at

Dorris has an interesting history, born in Florida, moved to LA where she started singing, spent 6 weeks in New York performing in Greenwich Village folk clubs and then decided to sail over to England in 1965 where she met John Renbourn who produced her material. More at
