Wonderful news.
Hoping to make it to Exeter, Bristol and London. I may try to fit Oxford in too.
So glad that the guys are coming to UK shores again. It must take so much hard work and dedication to organise all of this, especially after being in the UK last summer too.

May see you in Exeter, John. Bristol is nearer, but not a huge fan of the O2, plus with the extra Bristol Council money grabbing, sorry, clean air tax, it makes Exeter not so expensive after all.
(BTW, Kula tonight in Cardiff were brilliant!!) |

Ah great, hopefully see you there! I wonder why the Bristol gig is at the O2 and not the fleece? Expecting a bigger crowd?
Glad to hear Kula Shaker were as great as always. I'm not in the UK right now so I haven't been able to catch any of this tour sadly, but I saw them last summer and they were brilliant. They've stated there will be another new album this year to coincide with a tour of the US.

For those of you (Kula John, Boombox and Steve64) who have mentioned they may go to the Bristol date, just a heads up that it's been switched from 02 (hooray!) to Thekla, which seems to be a venue on a boat! Also, 02 Bournemouth has been cancelled and switched to Cardiff. |

Thanks Phil. Yes, I saw that, good news. The Thekla is a nice venue.

So Band On The Wall sounds like a cool venue. I have a live Iain Matthews soundboard from Band On The Wall, and it is fantastic.
Who's going?! I expect reviews!

I concur on the Thekla - much better venue. I have seen Dar Williams, Kula Shaker and Temples there. Can't make that show, though I will be at the Earl Haig on Wed 12th - hope they have some of the t-shirts left by then.

As Steve said, Bristol and Exeter were both terrific. The crowd in Bristol were a little livelier, but I think this was due to the venue which is a bit more compact and atmospheric (and on a boat!). So good to hear Singing Cowboy and Neil's Song in Exeter. Also good to hear And More on both nights. They opened with A House is not a Motel on both nights too.
My sister and her friend came with me to the Exeter gig as my sister said she wanted to know 'What this Love were all about' seeing as I've gone on about them for so long. They both enjoyed the night and after the guys finished playing You Set The Scene, her friend just looked at me and said 'Wow.'
Unfortunately I can't make any of the final few gigs, but I never get tired of seeing this band, and I'm already sincerely hoping they come back next year! I met them after the Bristol gig and made sure to thank them all for taking the time and effort to come and play for us in the UK. It must take a huge amount of organisation, effort and dedication from a lot of people to make these tours happen, but I know we are all truly grateful. However, if anyone from the tour is reading this, thank you, thank you very much.
Here are three videos from Bristol. Apologies for the changing angles in a couple of them, I was trying to get a good view of Johnny!
