https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3p-lqKYu2g
This 2001 show was narrated by Bob Sirott and featured these mid-to-late 60's Chicago area 'garage' and teen club bands: Chicago, New Colony Six, Buckinghams, Shadows of Knight, Ides of March, Cryan' Shames, and American Breed. Also featured are stories about AM radio stations, WLS & WCFL, and The Cellar teen club in Arlington Heights.
We picked up WLS/Chicago two hundred miles away...one of the great AM satins of the 60's....a friend live on the same block where The Flock practiced in one members folks garage--doors open! What a block party! --lk

Chicago Transit Authority (Mobile Fidelity)...1969 - when Chicago WAS the best band around! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTcEPw0ZRtE
The voice of the campus revolution and students protests! ...and on every turntable in every dorm room! And one of the greatest double albums of all tine...Terry Kath was THE guitar man and one of Jimi Hendrix' favorite guitarists!
Danny Seraphine was one of my all time favorite drummers...
