I heard a funny thing somebody said to me...
"hey this new robert plant album is great, there are some really good new songs on it. Why doesn't Arthur write a great new album of songs?"
I shuffled my feet and mumbled about rainbow, all i want and anthem.

Plant's new album is rather good. The thing is - One shouldn't expect it to sound like Zeppelin. The guy must get credit for not being stuck in the past. It's great to see that he is still creative, curious about trying out new things and HIGHLY productive. I liked last years "66 to Timbuktu" aswell. Old Percy is in good shape still!

I heard that Robert Plant's new C.D. is great. My cousin was supposed to burn it for me but I don't think I can wait. I am seeing him at the Greek Theater, L.A. on 7-24. Can't wait. He loves LOVE. Every time that I see Prince Charles in a kilt I wonder what he is wearing underneath. What do men wear under their kilts? |

hello Susan..judging from the lovely snapshot of yourself that you placed on this site it would appear that it wouldn't kill you to BREAK DOWN AND PUCHASE the fine Robert Plant cd that you so desire so that the artist recieves what is rightfully his. Nothing personal,I assure you. |

Jimmy - that is a cheeky comment but I do know where you are coming from It is a bit much to talk about burning CDs when they aren't exactly expensive to buy and yes the artist does deserve their royalties, after all they are the ones who have put in all the hard work. Burning copies of unavailable albums for hard-up mates is one thing but burning copies of something you can buy anywhere, pretty cheaply doesn't seem right.
As for the kilt thing? Well, you know the old joke? Woman : 'Is anything worn under the kilt?' Scotsman: 'No, it's all in perfect working order' |

Jimmy: I totally agree with you about burning c.d.'s. I have never burned anything myself. My kids do but seem to be buying more now days. My cousin just told me he was going to do that. I bought the C.D., love it and am looking forward to seeing Plant at the Greek. |

Oh, the innocence of youth! Sorry we've gone way off topic, but it was thst SusanB that started it, Miss! Now she's probably sitting there on the other side of the pond with a 'butter wouldn't melt' expression on her face.. You know, Caryne, its funny how original topics on this board can mutate into completely different subjects, but in this instance I cannot for the life of me think of anything that remotely connects Robert Plant with kilts or their contents. Can you? |
