Really hope your right Kirsty, though I'd like to know exactly why you are convinced ? Its a very strong and positive word as is hope. |

Faith mate! I never thought in million years I would get to see the man performing let alone so many times and being so excellent! must be big pressure being KA but he came back so good didn't he? maybe all a bit worried but DON'T PANIC like the hitch hiker bloke said. |

So would I be right in thinking that you are saying stuff said in the chatroom shouldn't be repeated here? Remember the chatroom is an open forum too, anyone can be there, just the same as anyone can be here...perhaps some people should remember that? |

Well I'm just back after a few days away, (had a close family bereavement)and was shocked to read the posts on this thread. Larry you're such a pessimist! Allow the man to grieve, and if this is Arthur's way, so be it. Yes it was bad, but more so it was sad. Many of Arthurs friends and contemporaries have passed away over the years, but like he said in the clip "I'm still here!" Full marks to the band, and strings and horns for being able to play on in the circumstances, it couldn't have been easy for them. I'm sure Arthur will be back with a bang come the next gig on the U.S. tour. Long Live Arthur Lee. |

I tend to agree with Larry. I think the Rick James thing was a product of the intake not the reason for it. AL has to get his act together, that was embarrasing to say the least. |

Sorry, George, I don't doubt that Arthur was shocked by the death of Rick James..but he's totally out of it all the way through that gig, have you watched all of it? There's more than a shock of someone being dead happening there. We've all, I guess, had people we love die, and it doesn't usually cause that kind of reaction. Arthur says he's only 'just' heard about the death..what caused him to be like he is at that gig took more than a few minutes! |

Sorry to hear that Arthur was having a bad day - **** don't we all ? I still maintain that Love is probably the best band you could see on the planet - and after so many years & erm a not exactly trouble free past, so he wasn't all up to everbody's expectations.....I bet he's had worse days Maximum respect to the legend that is Love !

Yes, it would be very interesting to hear more...though, like Larry says, I've watched the whole video and it doesn't look too funny...more bloody painful |

Caryne, I did watch it all. You've never seen anybody get pissed when someone close to them dies? I certainly have. And when he says he only found out 2 minutes ago, I'm sure that was a figure of speach. He obviously had plenty of time to get into that state, and he might have been on something else too, no? |
