Brian Eno & John Cale

Two great artists that paired up for one of my favorite albums. This track caught me off guard at the end of the last episode of Northern Exposure when two favorite characters did the native American "Crane Dance" to the Eno Cale song...an all time favorite TV series too. If this doesn't get you up and dancing nothing will.

Any favorite John Cale or Brian Eno songs would be welcome!!!

John Cale is...remarkable! I love his voice...and his readings of his music. Brilliant.
I would say he has that innate talent for phrasing & timing that compare to the likes of Sinatra...not note perfect, but perfect nonetheless.

Another great album i havent played for a while .."My Life in the bush of ghost,s" by Byrne and Eno.
I love Byrne,s solo from the 80,s "The Catherine wheel"
Ever since "Low" with Bowie back in the seventies, Eno,s musical paintbrush is evrywhere.
Another Green Plane...wow! how futuristic was that ambient music at it,s all time best.

Home...what a song! And right Eno has produced some of the best ambient and futuristic music ever. His creativity I think knows no bounds. When I first heard his work I couldn't make sense of it but after a while I caught on and 'went with the flow"! Shades of FC!

Yeah, Eno is something else man, i first heard him on Bowie,s Low, and like you Rocker eventually got with it, it seemed to me there was a time when Eno, Bowie, Byrne, and Cale and Lou of course were like a cognishenti of all good in music....pushing the music forward and experimenting all the time. Playing on each others albums, and producing each other,s work.

But when i heard Eno,s another Green World , i realised he had been the kinda daddy of ambient music since way back in the 70,s....totally different to his "Roxy" periord .
Like Love. i never tire of Brian Eno.

That's it! The collaboration. That's what I think propels these guys to make new and different music. They just feed off each other. Everytime Eno or Byrne or Cale come out with new stuff I just can't wait to hear what they've done. I may not jump to it immediately but give me time!
