Anyone read this at Lennon's site?
"Rethinking John Lennon's Assassination/The FBI's War On Rock Stars"
Quite interesting if not unbelievable, but there is quite an extensive "case study" of LoVE members and their deaths and associations, such as with the Manson connection.
Also, deaths discussed in detail-Janis Joplin, Nancy Nevins of Sweetwater, Brian Jones and a few others.
What do you all think?

Not much on Morrison here, but a fascinating read...concerning untimely deaths of 82 rock stars or related deaths to rock figures and the clusters of deaths surrounding certain events.

BTW, the speculation here about Love and "the Spiral Staircase" and the Satanic Castle is so much bull****, it is unbelievable....this guy is so full of speculation and guesswork & himself....but thought you all might find it intereesting!!
Lee/Morrison and Manson were drinking buddies?!!! Holy ****!! What a load of crap!

Well anybody learning about Maclean or Love or Arthur etc for the first time no doubt will latch onto this one. And the stories then will go on to a life...who knows where.

KD: Further to these types of conspiracy rumors, over at the huge
Jimi Hendrix portal / site Crosstown Turrents there were pages and
pages of conspiracy theories on how Jimi was "offed" by his sinister manager Mike Jeffery, reported to have had ties with British Secret Agents / MI5, The CIA, the MAFIA, German Hells Angels, and anyone else you want to add.
The theories are that Jeffery's "agents" waterboarded Jimi to death with red wine, and then covered it all up for the last 40 years with the help of UK Intelligence. All part of the "covert" war on rock.
Yea, right. What a load of crap.

on LOVE. Talk about a lot of "woulda, coulda, shoulda"

This guy must have gotten hold of some very powerful "Acid!" His rantings sound like someone having a really bad trip. The "Castle" was in the Los Feliz area. The house with the spiral staircase, (the bubble house) was near Griffith Park, both were quite some distance from Laurel Canyon, where the old Bela Lugosi mansion was. Bummer Bob, as we all knew him, (not "Cupid") was nothing more than an asterisk, during the groups Grassroots period. Never ever, was he associated with LOVE.
Can you imagine Arthur, (or anyone in the group) having a beer with, or even talking too, the personification of evil, known as Charles Manson? He is a racist, opportunistic, low-life, delusional dwarf. They wouldn't have even acknowledged his presence!
On the out-takes of the LOVE dvd, Johnny talks at length, about "Bummer Bob" and the
group's relationship with him, and how he (Bobby) was afraid of some guy named Charlie.
It's clear, that neither Arthur, or Johnny... ever hung-out with, or even knew a Charles Manson existed, prior to his orchestrating that orgy of death in North Hollywood. The kind of manufactured nonsense, speculation and misinformation emanating from these kinds of books, have given this group so much grief. This so-called writer, should find a more appropriate job... cleaning cesspools, and leave writing to those who are rational.
