.....and Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends. Somewhere in DC tonight is one heck of a lucky turkey! I think that the early scene in Easyrider is reminiscent of Thanksgiving....the one set in a hippy commune and in which a prayer is being said after the planting of the seeds.......something along the lines of "Grant us our simple food..... for the simple life we lead".
