Elton really makes the Nick songs he covers his
I understand that when he was selling all of his records the only one
he kept back were the Drake tracks he cut on vinyl (Island was trying
to get word out of its artists, so tracks by Nick, John Martyn & etc)
were cut
Kirby sings a track with Drake on the Interplay One record (1972):
"With a swag all on my shoulder" (tradition)
The album goes for a small fortune when it turns up on eBay. Nick plays
guitar on a couple other tracks, I think thats the only
track Kirby sings on |
