Kung Fu and David Carradine made such an impact. I remember it like it was yesterday. If anyone has a chance to see Big Stan just to see Carradine's sense of humour is a treat. It is not an academy award movie, but it is joy. David Carradine...you will be missed. signed http://love.pohpe.com
I especially remember David Carradine in Hal Ashby's Bound For Glory and Ingmar Begman's Serpent's Egg. The first was a charming biopic about Wood Guthrie and the second a disturbing portrayal of trends that were apparent in Germany just before the Nazis came to power. Twenty years ago Mr Carradine was here in Manchester to present a television award.Whilst in the city he was noticed at the Cornerhouse cinema paying to see one of his own movies! You made a huge number of films, David.......thanks and sleep well.
