Some tunes take awhile to enjoy as they gotta grow on you. Bue every once in awhile, you hear a song and that chord hits your chord and you know immediately, after one listen, its for you.
I don't think this happens too often, but these are mine.
Good Vibrations- Beach Boys The Weight- The Band Dear Mr. Fantasy- Traffic Anyone else? |

Hey, You've got To Hide Your Love Away Cinnamon Girl Joanne (by Papa Nez) Sit Down I Think I Love You I Don't Want To Talk About It (by Crazy Horse...not the later hit cover by Rod Stewart)
This could become a daily thing for me, depending on what I'm listening to!!

Yes, with me as well ...along with Heartful of Soul. The Yardbirds were one of the most exciting and innovative group of all time - it was wonderful seeing them appear on Top Of The Pops so regularly. |

Other big 1st time hiters for me in my teen years were... Superstition + Living for the city by Stevie Wonder, Emarald by Thin Lizzy (well, most of the "Jailbreak" album really, same goes for "Frampton comes Alive" especially "Do YOU FEEL LIKE WE DO?" Rebel Rebel..David Bowie White Riot...tHE cLASH Pretty Vacant...Sex Pistols Neil Young..Like a Huricane Even "Smoke on the Water" + "Freebird" sounded great to me, before Psychedelia cme into my life big time.
