Obama's victory feels like a John F. Kennedy moment for me. HOPE! and NEW WORLD!
Obama will have a tough road ahead of him. But EVERY American knows Obama didn't create this mess, and I'm thinking (and HOPING)that most Americans will stand behind him as he tries to clean this mess up.
This is an historic time...there's so much good that come from it

So right, guys. The new Time cover has Obama digitized onto a pic of Roosevelt waving out to us from a vintage car. Pretty cool. He just may be the next everyman President in the tradition of Franklin D. & Abraham....hope so.

i saw that today! yeah, that's what we need here is a work program to fix our infrastructure and employ us. this is the first time in decades that a leader's face is everywhere, and deserves it! i know we shouldn't follow leaders, watch our parking meters, but it's a special time, now! the times they are a' changin'! i hope!
Not sure if everybody knows about this but the "Tri-Boro" Bridge here in NY has been renamed the "Robert F Kennedy" Bridge"..make a note if you're traveling through as you might see a sign that hasn't been changed...
