The Turtles Anyone else think that The Hoosiers' 'Worried About Ray' is a rip-off off 'Happy Together'? Saw a pub band doing it before Xmas and just wanted to start singing HT over the top! :)

The Fugs & Holy Modal Rounders - Always loved both of these, though some of their stuff can be a difficult listen to any casual listener not used to at least the darker side of Zappa.

Them - would love to see them reform and Van get back to singing some decent garage rockers again.

The Troggs - so under-rated, it's not true. Reg Presley is a bit of an undiscovered treasure when it comes to British songwriters, though their interpretations of others' songs were damn good too.

lk..the Hollies.....what a profssional band, eh?..been around for a while...I know they came out with a new album called 'Staying Power' two years ago..haven't heard anything from it though..most likely it should have their trademark of 3 part harmonys and great hooks..pretty fitting...sure seems that Nash leaving could've deep sixed them but they had some great talent..Hicks, Elliott, Clarke to keep them going... Magic Woman Touch...one of their great songs... "I'm Alive" too...

Haven't heard that new one either, rocker, but you're right...The Hollies had staying power.....one of the great 60's bands that survived the 70's!

Listening to Yardbirds.....Drinking Muddy Water

Good to have you back around Boombox.
