Ok!! Rocker and all!!! I finally found a track on youtube from Del Shannon's The Further Adventures of Charles Westover, 1968.

Just as Dave M. said at his Chemistry Set topic....fantastic psych with some sitar, strings....I don't know how to describe it, but what a lost treasure!!!

Please give [i]I Think I Love You/i] a listen. I swear you'll want the CD if you can't find the LP (pretty impossible to find...hope Sundazed or FourMenWithBeards will reissue it on vinyl)! A very psychedelic track. What band does it remind you of??

fixed the link....

lk..whoa..a fine one from the vault..I tell ya it's a bit different than "Hats Off to Larry"!..(note: Shannon to me was a bit like Rick Nelson at the time....the times were changing and they were checking out how to fit in with their music which was a tip to another era)....now I'm curious to get the cd and hear the other tracks done from that time..thx...

Here's a rocker whose roots go all the way back to the heyday of Phil Spector---Jerry was Phil's first producer, session musician (drums, guitar, piano) and in-house songwriter when Philles records first started up. He produced Philles first hit and others.

His hard rocking, roots rock, country rock, style defies classification.

Try this one on guys....."So Young"

For free complete song- mp3s- from Jerry's site for a sampling of his music....8 great tracks.....

Judee Sill fans already know.....she was a genius.
Here's to the beautiful Judee Sill. So thankful she was able to summon the strength to get out of her hospital bed and..in eight hours, record her eight last swan songs. A creation of tremendous will and inspiration......rest in peace. And crank it up, guys!!!

Nice, Al. And what a great LP. Do you have "Straight Up!"??
I have a German press & the track order is totally different and I guessing the way it was intended..... the US has a tendency to place the HITS at the album beginning.
