Sweet Emmylou singing the definitive cover of For No One...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrKrYmjIPeI

..from Emmylou's debut album, that defined a new direction in country folk rock...the album is so filled with her love & grief after Gram Parsons passed. Emmylou-one of the most influential albums and artists of her era and today.

LK,

Isn't that what life is all about? .... tough choices.

As much as I love Lola, I'd have to go with Victoria, it just moves me more. But now I can't find my Kinks CD.

Been under a lot of pressure lately. A light weight song, but I sure could use a Turn Down Day, nothin on my mind.

Great fun tune from 1966---The Cyrcle were managed or dicovered or something by Brian Epstein, John Lennon came up with with the spelling, Paul Simon co-wrote Red Rubber Ball, their #2 chart hit.

That somehow led me to this--Graham Nash is so YOUNG!

Gotta love those Hollies,LK.Really excellent lightweight pop.Graham Nash and Co. crafted a brand of this so captivatingly breezy, the Brit invasion combo earned themselves a slot in the hall of fame in 2010.On the non-lightweight side of the ledger, there's the breathtakingly sensual post-Nash "The Air That I Breathe"."Long Cool Woman" exemplified the band's abilities in the rock and roll arena with a timelessly potent opening riff and solid performances from all the individual musicians.Bravo!
