Sons of Adam

I was fortunate to find a copy of the Moxie record and sleeve on EBay a couple years ago. It has 6 original Sons songs on it.

This is from Torben's main site

The Other Half was the next band for Randy Holden who turned down the lead guitar offer from the Yardbirds. The Other Half were the biggest thing in SF garage psych and their only album is highly regarded. The other half AND a nice Sons of Adam/FenderIV CD are available at Randy's site. My favorite Randy Holden is still side TWO of Blue Cheer's New and Improved.

go to Randy's site for a nice pic(s) of Michael.

Did Michael ever play a whole live gig with any post 60's Love bands? Was it FILMED?!!

Does anyone have this on DVD? In HQ? HA! Asking a lot! CD would be OK but I would really like to see him drumming...hopefully he would be filmed often.

Anyway, please email me for a trade. I'll make it worth it !!

I understand the original Love (minus Bryan) did a gig in Santa Monica in the late 60s..

Maybe someone has a tape?

Just got word from Michael that he's resolved some issues and he's back on the California '66 Review tour!! Hope he can keep up with things to stay on.

I won't hope too much that the tour will hit the Midwest...that would be a dream come true, but i won't hold my breath. Maybe we can get JohnnyLoveJoy to pull some strings?!!

Going back to pegasuscarousel.com to watch the three Benefit songs with Michael and Johnny. Sweet.

OK....Chicago! Four hours away...that'll do!!

"I do wonder" how the tour will do here in the States..

Some people might feel its rather pointless to tour without Arthurly (RIP)

Great to hear that Michael is back on - look forward to seeing him w/the guys. That said, let me say that Daddyo is a fantastic drummer and a key part of the BL/Arthur Love sound.

As far as the tour's likely success - I'll bet it does pretty well based on the combined draw of the 3 bands.

From what I understand...booking the smaller venues, clubs, this time around, has given a good idea that it should do well....& then they will go for larger venues with a new tour later in the year.

You're right, rux.....the three-bands for one is quite a nice draw. It should get the person(s) who want to see at least one of them, & then they get the other great ones...not a bad deal!!
