Arthur's Castle is in Los Feliz, a heavily-populated area of LA. If fire reaches there, it will be a BIG news story. (not to say what is happening now isn't bad enough!) I was in LA last month, and drove by there. You can't see the front of it without going up the driveway. I chose not to do that, I don't like invading people's privacy. I was surprised, I had always imagined that it was up in a canyon, but that is not the case, it is closely surrounded by other houses. I tried to find the Trip house, which is supposed to be on Kirkwood in Laurel Canyon, but the road was closed at the top, and once again, I decided not to go up driveways looking for it. |
