Details of Meltdown at the South Bank Centre just announced, some interesting gigs such as Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Jesus and Mary Chain but the highlight for me is Roky Erickson who will play the Royal Festival Hall June 18th. The latest Mojo has a very positive review of a gig he did at the Great American Music Hall, San Francisco last month

Southbank Centre members will be able to buy tickets from this Wednesday (May 2) at 9am. Tickets go on general sale from this Thursday.

I have booked tickets today for Roky Erickson on June 18th and Iggy and the Stooges on June 20th both at The Royal Festival Hall.. gonna be a busy week as I am going to see The Doors or(Riders On The Storm)on the 17th at The Mean Fiddler..

WOW! Roky? No way!!!

I reverberate to the sounds of his voice. I levitate to another musical plane.

But can I make this gig?

I'm in town for the Doors the night before. But I've travelled down from Newcastle.

Must...not...go...back...up...north...until...Tuesday.

I need a day's holiday! I have to be there! Please give me time off work someone!

Where do I want to go? Why, to the 13th Floor of course!

Let me slip inside his house. I cannot pass it by.
