....siiiiiiiiccckkkk! I just saw a commercial for Sam's Club, using "God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys. HOW COULD THIS BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN????????!!!!! Of all songs to be sold for a commercial! Have we fallen this far in 40 years??? How could Brian Wilson do this? Is nothing sacred??? The worst part is, it's Christmas time. Wow. I haven't been shocked in a while, but this really does it.
yeah..this is a tough one in our world of commerce, eh?...maybe the only "saving grace" is that there are some out there who've never heard the song and will be able to hear something real good...wonder now how long the Beatles catalog will last before their songs get all over the place...
