I've just bought P.F. Sloan's new album "Sailover" and I'm very pleased with it. It's a diverse and melodic bunch of songs that invokes the Sixties spirit and grabs your attention. The new recording of "Eve of Destruction" sounds great, and theres a fine modern protest song called "Violence". One track remins me of the Travelling Wilburys. I hope P.F. plays live in the U.K. quite soon. Love, John E
boy he's come back...looks like he was in bad health for awhile... worked with alot of LA bands..Mamas and Papas , Turtles, Jan & Dean Beach Boys...he's had a good music career..McGuire was shocked that "Eve" got to be such a hit in '65...I guess he never came across Arthur out there in LA...would've been interesting to know how a "Sloan-Lee" or "Lee-Sloan" record could've sounded..
