Got to disagree strongly there i'm afraid. Old Man is a masterpiece. Listen to the live version on the FC live dvd and you will see why, it makes me shiver every time I hear that version. The Red Telephone is also a stunning piece of work. I would say bummer in the summer is the 'weakest' song on FC, but i use the term weakest very very loosely because it would be a travesty to associate the word weak with any of the songs on FC.
This is the time and this is the time and it is time, time, time, time, time, time, time.....

Personally i think "The Red Telephone"....is a great, great song.It certainly went down,well..when i saw him in 2004.Hundreds of people yelling "Freedom",over and over again, towards the end of the song. Awesome stuff....

Posted - 16/01/2007 : 15:25:18 At the moment my top 10 are: 1. A Message To Pretty. 2. Mushroom Clouds. 3. Maybe The People Would Be The Times Or Between Clark And Hilldale. 4. The Daily Planet. 5. Number 14. 6. A House Is Not A Motel. 7. Signed D.C. 8. No Matter What You Do. 9. Live And Let Live 10. Emotions.
These are constantly changing. I've only got into Love in the last couple of months, after I bought Forever Changes because it was on the Rolling Stone top 500 albums, and meant to the Love's best album. I was very pleased with Forever Changes. So I bought De Capo, which was just ok, nothing special in my opinion. Next I bought Love's first album, which is my favourite at the moment. It's an amazing album , A Message To Pretty is a great song , and my favourite Love song, at the moment. Then a couple of weeks ago I bought Four Sail, I've listened to it a couple of times, but so far it doesn't seem to good, hopefully it'll grow on me. |

Posted - 31/08/2006 : 16:13:21 It'd be near impossible for me to pick 10, pretty much everything on the first several albums is great IMO, so I'll cop out and say one of the best Love songs ever in my eyes is Gather Round. It's got to be the most underrated song they ever recorded. I think it's brilliant! |
