I'm with John, I was stunned and pleased his contribution to music has been recognised.
Like Forever Changes that first Velvet Underground album was one of the few I have bought that really blew me away, especially side two. And like Forever Changes it still does. |

Congratulations to fellow Mancunian Graham Nash for this. But I've often wondered, since Canadians are also eligable for these particular gongs, why Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Neil Young have never been similarly honoured.
Really...me too! has any artist? Gordon Lightfoot?

Love them both. Sir John Cale now....but like Arthur, relatively unknown to the larger masses....to bad for them! Graham has had his day...for decades, but good to see him recognized so. The first VU is so good...
