Brian's half sis is playin Hebden Bridge [Yorkshire UK}Arts Festival in 2008 - Hebden Bridge's population is only ~ 5000 so it's an amazing gig achievement for such a small place

we've also been to hebden Bridge..in oh probably 1972
I think MM did a songwriting workshop thereabouts a few months ago

I saw Maria McKee and her band at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, a pretty small venue, earlier this year. She was great - her style of performing nowadays suits more intimate gigs, her power ballad days are well and truly behind her.

Someone from the audience shouted for her to do "Orange Skies" but she said she hadn't sung it for ages and didn't oblige.

Doesn't she look like Brian in the pic in the article - Maria isn't blonde any more but that face comes shining through!
