I got an email from Jeff Hughes, a friend of Dave Hull and Charlie Karp, asking me if I wanted to know what they are doing today. He will try to put a history together about what they have been doing since then, but to start off here's something quite new. Earlier this year Dave has been filling in for Tom Hammilton in Aerosmith. Here's a photo from an Aerosmith concert:
Dave Hull in background w/ Bass. Dave was also with Joe Perry Project and Fahrenheit. here's a you tube w/ Dave Hull from Farrenheit 1997 ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnXnE9EyACc
What ever happened to Craig Tarwater, Drachen Theaker, Noony Ricketts, John Sterling, Sherwood Akuna and all the others? |

Hey Joe. Yes - Bruce Gary - he died a few years ago of cancer too.

KD: No, he's one of only 2 surviving members left of The Knack though. The lead singer just died last week.
Always thought Berton would make a great interview on his time with Arthur Lee and Love - some of the looks he'd give Arthur on stage were just priceless IMHO.
Free the looks ! |

I read that the lead singer Doug Fieger of the Knack passed on and I also read that their guitarist Berton Averre played with Arthur at one time on stage.
KD: Berton played on and off with Arthur throughout most of 1989-90 - good guitar player. He plays a great version of Little Wing on Electrically Speaking, recorded at the IBEAM in SF 4/89.
Free the wings ! |
