Checked into the hotel in Copenhagen and called Aake. We found a cafe and had a beer. Later in the afternoon we walked out to Amager Bio to attend the soundcheck. When we arrived the band had already started. Mike spotted us and came down for a short hello and then back to get the sound right.

Inbetween soundcheck Mike was writing the diary.
It's quite amazing to hear the sound being adjusted to best possible levels by Kose. After awhile he walked out in the middle of the room and as far as I could see he looked satisfied with what he heard. The band was doing the sound check without Arthur Lee and when playing complete songs Rusty was singing the lead vocal - what an amazing voice he has! One of the last songs they played was a blistering instrumental version of August. The soundcheck ended around 6.30 and Aake and I hurried out to get something to eat (and a beer) before the concert started at 8 o'clock.
Outside the club we met Chapple on his way out to try Bent's motorbike.
