Very nice! Tiny Goddess is one of the greatest pop tracks of the 1960s for me. I just adore that song. |

Don't have that one, but I have had Tous les Garcons... for over twenty years and bought a 3LP box set of Message Personnel, A Suivre and Quelqu'un qui s'en va many moons ago. Have bought a few compilations of her 60s stuff more recently. She is certainly one of the 'greats' of French music, up there with Gainsbourg in my book.
And caljam, good call on the real Nirvana - Simon Simepath is also excellent for those who don't know it.
As for me, I am currently listening to Jefferson Starship at Market Harborough in 2006. Diana Mangano's voice on Silver Spoon always raises the hehairs on the back of my neck - gorgeous! |

I agree with what you say about the second Fallen Angels album - great leap forward from their first. Also, I recently got a compilation with Fly by J.K. and Co - nice backwards recording on it. So their albums are worth getting then?
Me, I'm currently listening to Cottonwood's Camaraderie, featuring a post-Love Gary Rowles - pleasant laid-back country rock - helluva contrast after False Start and Out There. |

yes, boombox! "Suddenly One Summer"'s track, "O.D.", from J.C. and Co. is a companion piece to "Signed DC", in my opinion, and brings tears with its awesome beauty. Fallen Angels 2 is truly amazing, especially, the cut, " Look To The Sun". both cds are jems from shooting stars, recorded before burning out. these cds are 2 of my most played, and they stick and get better and better. you know...that good stuff full of classic moments that can't be put in words.
