Did you know they got the title for that song from something "Granny" said in an episode of 'The Beverly Hillbillies'? (She used the expression as an epithet while upbraiding Jethro for some thing or other.) I take that as a sign of the band's good taste. 
Also not too well-known is that they derived the name Bubble Puppy from a fictional game in Huxley's "Brave New World"...Centrifugal Bumble-Puppy, if memory serves. They probably shouldn't have changed it...
