| Johnny, you should really write a book or a screen play. I have never seen a movie that captured the real scene happening on the strip during the 60's. It was high drama every night I was 15 and not driving yet when I first started hanging out on the strip. We followed a band from my home town of Whittier, CA. My friends and I rode up in their van to watch them at the Sea Witch. Those were some of the most enjoyable days of my life. I wish I had kept a journal. |

I hear the vultures are circling over Ebay - but I'm not looking. Doubtlees there will be others out to make a buck soon, and maybe they really need it, but there'll probably be things released that perhaps should be best left in the can, and words written best left as thoughts, but I hope that, after a dignified silence, Johnny, who should achieve the latter effortlessly, and I don't doubt is hurting in his own way right now, will put pen to paper - if he has not done so over the past few months - reflect and share some of his bucketful of memories. There's a story to tell. One day. Please. |
