The biggest disappointment for us was that this was the last night of the UK tour, and what a tour it has been!!!!!
The venue last night was almost full and a fantatic time was had by all. The Band did two encoures, but we really didn't want the night to end.
What is it about these venues though? We were offered a partial refund when we arrived and when we asked if we didn't have a refund would the money be passed on to the band, we were rudely informed that that would not happen as they are the ones that had let everyone down??? So we took our partial refund and bought a t-shirt instead! I know they are in business to make money.....but honestly!
Anyway, we heard last night that there is a one-off concert in October in the UK and that the Guys will be back again in the Spring of 2006.
With all due respect to Arthur, I didn't even think to ask if he would be coming. That's how good LOVE have been without him.
We are ready and waiting for their return. |

| One off concert in October??? I will definitely be making that one if it happens, Arthur or no Arthur!!! Wonder how many I can make of the Spring tour too.... |

 A Great show. Although a few sound probs. early on, nothing was gonna detract from the overall vibe, it was very intamet and the playing was right on the money. I thought the lyrics seemed more poingant than ever after the events in London last week ,especialy LIVE AND LET LIVE, Rusty handled the vocals better than i expected, and Johnys voice on SINGED D.C. was....AWESOME.
The Da Capo tracks+ CANT EXPLAIN were real R + B, with everyone
round me dancing and smiling, and London felt allright again.
Just before LOVE came on the D.J. played a tune about THE GOVENER and what the singer would like to come his way, can anyone tell me who this track and the one before it(IF I COULD HEAR MY MOTHERS VOICE AGAIN??) are by please.
Finaly ,hi to Steve from M.K. who i met along with the band after the gig, i finally got home at 3.a.m. due to the on-going tube + train problems, but it was well worth the effort.. LOVE...Allan |
