Is this actually his old mailbox? It is in front of his old Laurel Canyon digs...knocked off the post and just lying there. I've never seen this anywhere online...
Can't imagine Arthur doing it, but maybe a fan painted it up for Arthur. Or someone did it knowing Arthur once lived there. A friend shared this note and the pic he took:
"I spent some time in Laurel Canyon last week on my first trip to LA. It’s amazing Arthur Lee’s old mailbox is still at his former home."

Michael says he doesn't remember it being like this. Likely repainted by a fan who lived there later... can't imagine Arthur decorating it like that...too cheesy.
