| I have noticed a whole different feeling on this site since word got out (from me,unfortunately) about the disasterous San Francisco shows. I am not alone in making snide and somewhat cold comments and I admit my guilt. Plus,all the stories about cacelled tours and everything else puts the damper on hopes that the band will continue playing as "Love with Arthur Lee".And if the worst does happen,what then? What happens to this wonderful Message board that is the one bond that keeps us all together? What do we write about then,how great it USED to be? |

jimmyboy...Even without Arthur, if Johnny remains with the band, then to me they are still LOVE. And it appears from everything I've been reading about the band without Arthur, that this current group ROCKS. Arthur is Arthur, mysterious and all, but one must wonder when 'enough is enough'. Let's just hope that Arthur is getting his life back in order, and that he may re-join the band some time in the future. Don't worry about this Message Board...I think it's here to stay for a good, long, time

I wouldn't worry about where 'word got out' from about the SF shows, someone would have posted it one way or another and we all know that, sadly, it wasn't the first time.
As for the board, why on earth shouldn't go on? I, personally can't see why, as long as the band is playing there isn't any reason for it to change. After all, it's a 'Messageboard for Love fans', can't even see why you are asking the question, after all, some bands who havn't existed in years still have boards and, at the moment, the Love band are still very much alive and kicking. From what I can see most of the negativity on this board have come from new and occasional posters not the regular fans, if those 'new and occasional' posters aren't happy then there's no reason they have to stay but all the regular posters seem very positive about the future of the band and that's only a good thing |

| I beleive EVERY LOVE FAN , be-it their 1st. gig or 50th. has a right to voice their opinion...they pay their entrance fee , after all...LOVE .....Allan |

| i think this board is all about the multi-dimensional aspects of LOVE/ ARTHUR LEE! it's the lyrics, music, performance, personnel and personal details, all of it, the news and information of where, what, when LOVE does it. Arthur Lee has always been the main singer, and writer. hard to dismiss him as a member easily replaced, even by Echols( who IS the only human on Earth to be able to fill A.L.'s place as leader.) as far as singer,i like Rusty. i'm glad these guys are here for us! GOD, this LOVE band is GOOD!!! I PRAY FOR ARTHUR. |

| Yes, Allan, everyone has the right to express an opinion but, and sadly I know this to be the truth, there have been one or two posters on this board recently who aren't 'fans' and have just appeared to stir up trouble. If you don't like something fair enough, I believe in honesty in all things, but just remember, at times, everyone may not be who they seem. |
