Best quote so far...

Sanders (agreed with Clinton), saying, "We are, if elected president, going to invest a lot of money into mental health, and when you watch these Republican debates, you know why."

Looking at it through European eyes, Bernie Sanders is certainly not a socialist and it is maybe unfortunate that he appears to have labelled himself (or been labelled) as such. Socialism is essentially defined as (and I quote): "a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies". Bernie Sanders is no more than a social democrat who has made it quite clear that he does not believe that government should own the means of production, though he does believe in free universal healthcare, free college education, and a decent minimum wage. These are of course all policies that have been implemented by many European countries that are by no means socialist (unless, perhaps, you are viewing them through American eyes).

Of course this is viewed thru American eyes, anything else would be secondary during this unprecedented campaign.

Sanders political philosophy is actually Roosevelt Socialism (which is to say programs that benefit the masses, not the rich) the Roosevelt policies that helped bring about all those fine social programs that the crazy Tea Partiers would like to kill in the name of "less government".

Idiots. Their ideas would actually create more need for government intervention. It's all BS.

Sanders and fans may like to romantically call Sanders a Socialist but he is not anything close....

Right on, DT, you are correct. It is more propaganda in calling him a socialist in order to smear his ideology. Which is basically just being an old school liberal....and of course the Right calls that socialism

And NO, I'm not a Sanders fan.
